Description
A foggy view of the Three Gossips rock formation near the entrance of Arches National Park. Three Gossips is a mid-sized sandstone tower (about 350 feet at its tallest wall) sitting atop a roundish pedestal within the Courthouse Towers "cluster". The name no doubt comes from a slight resemblance of the formation to three heads "gossiping" to each other. The lower rock formation to the right of the gossips is Sheep Rock. The winding road leads on into this wonderland of over 2,000 natural stone arches, in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks.

What a wonderful view! Atmospheric perspective creates barriers for easy viewing and gives a hint of mystery to the scene. The road loops back and forth, in and out of the picture. The rocks realy do have personality! and the red and beige dirt and rocks add color to a desert landscape. Great capture! Thanks for sharing! v/fav

I really like the empty road. Combined with the fog and rock formations, it makes for a haunting desert image. Bravo! v/f/stumble
