Close-up of the bighorn ram from the Beauty Creek trail in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. This big guy watched us closely as we came down the trail. He was quite relaxed, however, as he continued to chew his cud. We didn't want to disturb him, so we continued down the trail, only stopping to take photographs. His horns give an indication of his age and experience; the end of one of them is pretty ragged. He's a beauty!
