Description
Cowboys riding past rock formations in Arizona. In the foreground is Church Rock, middle is the edge of the Comb Ridge, and in the background is Agathla Peak (also known as El Capitan).
Guided by Laurent Martres' Photographing the Southwest book, we had stopped at this location to photograph these 3 rock formations. As we were setting up, a group of men and women were saddling their horses further up the road, and some of them ended up riding through our shot. Which, as you can see, lent a wonderful atmosphere to our photo!
